What it is

Gunfight.me is a first-person duel. Two players land on opposite ends of a tropical island and fight it out round by round: each round opens with a buy phase, where you spend the money you earned on a pistol, an assault rifle, a shotgun, a sniper rifle or a rocket launcher, and closes when one of you is down. Fists are always free. The first to five rounds wins the match.

A match on the island.

The island

The arena is a hand-laid island: a pirate cove, a village with an inn and a bell tower, a lumber camp, rocks you can climb a step at a time, and beaches with a shark in the shallows. Buildings are solid cover, never hiding places. The bombs stacked in the cove go off when shot and take whoever is standing close. A jump against a ledge climbs it.

Trophies and Discord

Two dozen trophies mark the things worth doing: a kill with bare fists, a bomb detonated under an opponent, the shark sunk, a match won five to nothing, a hundred kills with the shotgun. Three of them go on your profile for everyone to see. Linking your Discord account earns the Verified trophy and the matching role in the Gunfight.me Discord server, where the players are.
